Response to client RFP - presales design support
Sometimes when doing a mockup for a potential client, you get lucky with the content.
In this case, we not only had assets from the first game to work with, we were also able to lift quite a bit from their website. Bungie wasn’t messing around with the promotion of their latest and biggest release to date, and they were asking to see top drawer, out-of-the-box, jump-the-shark types of executions.
This afforded us the ability to put some extra hours into the presales pitch and show what we could do. From characters, classes, weapons, planets, image galleries and trailers, it is basically a microsite on the IMDb title page. Everything is skinned to be a fully immersive, 100% SOV Destiny 2 experience, complete with a full site CSS skin, dynamic full width background animations, and “Ghost” – the hovering AI companion found in the game – giving you hints and helpful information as you navigate the page.
