Sometimes when doing a mockup for a potential client, you get lucky with the content.
We had assets from the first game and could borrow from their website. Bungie wanted exceptional, innovative promotions for their biggest release, allowing us to invest extra hours in the presales pitch. The result was essentially a microsite on the IMDb title page – featuring characters, classes, weapons, planets, galleries and trailers. This fully immersive Destiny 2 experience included a complete CSS skin, dynamic full-width background animations, and the in-game AI companion “Ghost” providing navigation hints.

As one of their tentpole releases for the year, Universal was going big with promotion leading up to the release of Despicable Me 3.
Our team was already exploring immersive IMDb executions, making it perfect timing to pitch an enhanced Premium Title Page product. The video first shows our existing product; clicking the hero area would launch a full-screen experience—essentially a curated microsite attached to the IMDb page throughout the movie’s lifecycle. This pitch benefited from our previous paid executions for the Minions franchise. Using assets from a client’s previous campaigns adds credibility, and studio-quality minions running around the page is always gonna be a fun time.
When this presales request [t]rolled in, there was actually some decent assets available.
We went with our tried and true Premium Title Page product for both mobile and desktop and focused on using the character assets we were able to ninja-leverage from their site in order to set us apart from other proposals.
