TIMELAPSES
What became a tentpole series for TNT started with THIS mock. (Well, maybe not for TNT, but for me.)
Created well before Season 1 debuted, I had minimal assets and information, forcing me to develop a look and feel for a California surfer crime family show from scratch. With creative freedom and a soft spot for the genre (Point Break-era baby!), this was incredibly fun to create.
Below is a photoshop timelapse of the process.

Raw assets and actual keyart.
I’m not going to say they stole my idea to use a surfer, but they obviously stole my idea to use a surfer and were definitely still referencing this mock YEARS later. Maybe. I heard.
Sony released the RFP earlier than usual,
giving me limited marketing assets for the presales support visuals – just set stills and cryptic teasers. With only one large image of Idris in a [sweet] duster, I created a desert-western-sepia-sunset-cowboy theme in both desktop and mobile versions.
